Okay, so I took this Irrational Number quiz (found via Erica), and this is the result I got. Does the result mean I don't exist?

UPDATE!!! Took the quiz again, changed one of my answers and actually got a tangible result:
What Irrational Number Are You?
Of all the irrational numbers, you are the most intense. By nature you are powerful, although sometimes you can spiral out of control. You are good with money; the interest seems to just compound whenever you are near. When someone uses the word "exponential" they are probably talking about you.
In some ways you and f are a nearly perfect match. Not to mention how attractive f is. But then, there is the remarkable p...

Since I'm putting in summadat good ol' fashioned OT today, I treated myself to lunch. Figured that with the extra ching in my next check, I could afford it, LOL.
I walked over to Quiznos and got a small Traditional and a cup of broccoli cheese soup. I asked for no onions or black olives. Guess what was on my sandwich? You guessed it, onions and black olives. Fuckers! Once they were removed, the sammich was "mmm mmm mmm mmm mmm, Toasty!"
Apparently the words "no NAPKINS" must have left my mouth, but they listened to that one - amazing! They remembered something I'm not even sure I said. Thank goodness I have some here at my desk, under all the paperwork I've so "carefully" strewn about so as to make my coworkers think I'm disorganized...
Yuck
Apologies for the temporary ugliness and basic clash of colors. Playing around with new format again...
It wouldn't be the same...
...if I didn't complain about something. A $246 million dollar lawsuit has been filed against Sony Computer Entertainment America Inc., designers Take-Two Interactive Software and Rockstar Games, and Wal-Mart.
Why?
Because nobody thought to teach two step-brothers that you don't go shooting things or people, no matter what "people" do in your newest video game.
I LOATHE lawsuits like this.

So now that work has calmed down a bit, they're cracking down on internet usage. In other words, now that I have time to blog, I'm technically not allowed to. From work, anyway (which constitutes much of my time online - I just don't get on a whole lot from home). Such is life. Maybe I'll blog over my lunch hours - something to keep me busy while I'm eating my lunch, trying to keep myself from going to the pizza place with the awesome NY pizza (first link is the restaurant, albeit a different location than the one I frequent, the second link is a review of a third location).
Conversations from the Edge
The edge of sanity, that is. DId I mention that this is also Mental Health Awareness Week? What a freakin' coincidence. People, PLEASE make sure you're contributing to the mental health of the customer service reps you encounter, not taking away from it. And now, without futher ado...
Customer: I need to reset my password, please?
{{{Verify security info}}}
Me: Okay then, what would you like your new password to be? Passwords shouldbe between 5 and 8 alphanumeric characters long.
Customer: So it needs to be 8 letters long?
Me: Yes, between 5 and 8 letters and/or numbers long.
Customer: Can it have numbers, too?
Me: Yes, it can letters and/or numbers.
Customer: Okay, I'd like it to be 5420millbranch.
Me: I'm sorry ma'am, that's 13 characters long.
Customer Service Week Continues
Today is Hawaiian day. I just got lei'd.
Customer Service Week
In honor of Customer Service Week, it's Mardi Gras Day in my department. I'm sitting at my desk wearing a purple glitter mask and purple and green beads. Fun!

I've never understood why some people hate their birthday so much. I'm a birthday freak. I'll be 50 and still looking forward to my birthday.
I took today and tomorrow off work. Today's plan is vegging and baking (well, and mailing the rent check, LOL). I have an awesome chocolate chip cookie recipe shared by my friend Sherri that I'll make (seriously the BEST CC cookies I've EVER had), I'll probably make some crack muffins, and I got an idea while looking through the pantry this morning. We have an unopened (!) jar of Nutella. I think I may try to make Nutella chocolate chip cookies - it'll be my little experiment for the day. Basic peanut butter cookie recipe from The Joy of Cooking (anniversary gift from Dave & Heather), substitute Nutella for the peanut butter, add chocolate chips. I'll let you know how it goes. I may also make some crack muffins.
I'm undecided on dinner. There's a German restaurant I've always wanted to try, but the little voice in the back of my head reminded me that our Entertainment Book includes a BOGO coupon for a nice local restaurant that I love, one that we can't afford without the BOGO. And it expires next month.
After dinner will be karaoke night at a local bar, the bar where you drink free all night if it's your birthday (Kim & Spyros, if you've got the time and need a break from house stuff, come on down - it's Spurz).
My gift from my awesome, wonderful husband was the 3-volume set of Good Eats DVDs! Yay! This is especially touching, considering the fact that we'd never be able to afford it as an impuse buy, which means he saved his pennies for quite a while - and even more especially considering that I'm the financier in the house and it's not easy to squirrel away that amount of money without me knowing about it, so it probably took him at least 4 months (possibly more).
But for now, I'll sit around in my slippers and some snuggily warm knit clothing and surf the 'net to my heart's content.
Happy Birthday to Me!!!
