Musings on not much of anything
So I realized that I've had all of 7 entries for the entire month of September (so far, anyway), 3 of which were on the same day. I'm not sure if it's because I haven't had much to complain about, nothing much to be overly excited about, or the fact that I've been incredibly busy at work (which is where most of my entries used to be made, during the recently non-existent downtime between calls), but it's just not been happening lately. I haven't even felt an urge to change my format in a while (except for tonight, but I just don't have the time to play around with a format change right now). Maybe I'll have more to talk about later on in the week, when I'll be taking two days off in honor of the big 2-7. I don't know. I haven't even been doing much reading of other people's blogs lately (see aforementioned non-existent downtime at work), save for two blogs done by people I've known since before this whole "blogging thing" got big (see Swirlspice and Highly Moody). I have a few I'd like to catch up on, and a few to add to or edit on my BlogRoll (if I can remember my username and password). I just haven't been feeling it lately.
So... apologies to the three people who read this blog, LOL. I may or may not become more prolific in the near future.
Teehee!!!
A truck carrying 800 baby pigs overturned, spilling the pigs out on to the highway. Unfortunately, several piggies died, but the pictures are priceless...
I particularly love that one on the left. It looks like she's saying (in the voice of Special Ed from Crank Yankers) "I got free... yaaaayyyyyyy!"

We Will Never Forget
I had my gear in my pack, I had my pack on my back
Finally, an explanation for my absence (not like anyone noticed, I can probably count on one hand the people who visit). We went camping!! Much of last week was spent in preparation, so I hadn't had much time to post. Our preferred spot is Rock Island State Park, which is absolutely beautiful, this year even moreso - rather than our normal Memorial Day trek, we changed to Labor Day this year, due to previous poor MD weather. Best camping decision we've ever made.
After a white-knuckle ferry ride Friday morning (I seriously thought we were going down), and the 30 minutes I needed to sit on the dock to make sure I didn't vomit, the weekend was excellent. Good fun, good friends, awesome weather. I should have pictures within the next week or so, including what I hope will turn out to be some awesome sunset pictures (I wish they'd invent a consumer-available camera that can replicate exactly what the eye sees, because there were several times I wanted to take a picture that I knew wouldn't come out).
