Working in a call center that operates 24/7 can sometimes really suck, in that your schedule can be really jacked up. I'm one of the unlucky ones who has split days off. However, there's only one day in between my days off, so as long as a vacation request goes through, I do have the potential for the occasional 3-day weekend.
My normal days off are today (Sunday) and Tuesday. I have to go to court tomorrow for a ticket I got last month*, and I had already put in for half of tomorrow off when I decided "you know what, I haven't had 3 days off in a row - other than when I actually had to go somewhere and be busy since last summer," so I decided to put in for the rest of the day off. There was a chance I'd have to wait until tomorrow afternoon to find out if my request for tomorrow night off went through, but my wonderful, awesome supervisor just called to let me know that my request went though (and I'm not calling her my wonderful, awesome supervisor just because she called me - I genuinely like her - she's one of the best bosses I've ever had. Maybe there really *is* something to this call center stuff - my two favorite bosses ever have been my call center supervisors).
Three. Days. Off. In. A Row. Now, that's not to say that I won't be relatively busy, but I don't have to do a long camping roadtrip or get on a plane to go anywhere. I have some errands to run today, some cleaning to do here at home, my court date tomorrow, and a doctor appointment and a trip to the in-laws' for dinner on Tuesday night, but other than that, I can just sit around the house and do absolutely nothing otherwise.
Three. Days. Off. In. A Row. With. Minimal. Obligation.

I was driving Bryan's car one night last month and got pulled over. Apparently his registration had been expired since August - we each thought the other took care of it. The cop took pity on me - she said she just going to give me a warning, but that since it was so long overdue she'd have to give me a citation. But she told me that if we got it taken care of right away and I went to court, the judge might just dismiss it. Now, the ticket was "only" $78.00, but I figured it was worth a shot to not have to pay the $78.00 and not have that ticket on my record.
