*sniff* They grow up so fast...

...especially when you're not there. My younger cousins on my dad's side are a lot younger than me - I was 14 when A was born and 15 when M was born. A was always my baby. Actually, they were both my babies, but I always got more snuggles from A. M wasn't quite the snuggle bug, but is usually the first to give me a big whopping hug when I visit now. When A was a toddler, he would get his bottle from the fridge, take my hand and walk me over to the couch - I would sit down and he would climb up and snuggle and go to sleep on me.

Well, I ran into A on line tonight, and he gave me the link to his Picturetrail page.

Holy cats, do I need updated pics of those boys. Granted, they are 14 and 13 now, and last time I was home they were both taller than me (or pretty darn close to it - I can't remember), but I was in NO WAY prepared for what I saw. He's let his hair grow out - I love it. Sandy blond, wavy/curly and beautiful. He was wearing a button-up oxford shirt with a navy blue Polo (Ralph Lauren, not the sport) sweater. He is starting to look like... well, notsomuch my baby anymore. I won't say "man," seeing as he's 14 and all, but... wow.

You have to understand, there is a framed picture and A and me on my entertainment center - it's one of my favorite pictures, but in this picture, he's 10 months old and I'm just barely 15. Other than that, I have pics of them from when we were in Ireland, when A was 20 months old and M was just over 6 months old. I have a picture of M with our grandma on the day of his First Communion. I have a couple of pictures of them from when Bryan and I visited my family for Christmas 2003, but nothing fabulous.

That's it. Those are the pictures I have of my babies. So, I guess it's kind of understandable that I would still think of them as little kids since those are the pictures I see on a daily basis. But now... dey all growed up. *sniff*

I'm gonna go cry now. :(

And let me tell you, if I had known a guy in junior high or high school who looked like A, I would have had SUCH a crush on him - he's a CUTIE!!!

Doesn't it just make you feel old? I was talking to my mom the other day and a little girl we used to babysit is graduating from high school this year. I haven't seen her in a few years, but I remember when she was 2 and I still think of her as a small child. She's gorgeous and 17 and it just doesn't seem possible. She should still be a baby. And her brother is graduating from college. That shouldn't be allowed either.
