For so long now, I've been unmotivated to lose weight because I don't have a scale, and I'm the kind of person who likes to have tangible numbers. As asinine as this may sound, I don't just want to say "well, I think this article of clothing might be getting a little loose." I want to know exactly how much weight I've lost. I'm currently at a weight where any scale I'd seen that had the ability to accurately weigh me was prohibitively expensive, and with affordable scales, I'd have to wait up to 6 months to be able to weigh myself.
BUT... the excuses are gone. I picked up this beauty this week - it's currently at my mother-in-law's house (it's not easy to get UPS delivery when you live in an apartment without an office, so I have my stuff delivered there), waiting to be picked up. It can weigh me. And I must have picked it up just in the nick of time, because the website now says it's not in stock or has been discontinued. Hmmm.
No more excuses. I want to look absolutely gorgeous in this dress (in black) come Lisa's wedding next July.
