Yes or no...

Would you call your cable company and ask them for a credit if you hadn't watched TV in a month?

The reason I ask...

I CONSTNTLY have people calling to say "oh, well I haven't used the service in a month. I want a credit." Uhhh, sorry, it doesn't work that way. If we are providing the service to you, you have to pay for it whether or not it's been accessed. It's not a "pay as you use" plan, it's a monthly service. If you called your cable company or satellite provider and told them you hadn't watched TV in a month, they wouldn't give you a credit. If you subscribe to a magazine and you call them and say you haven't read it in 3 months, they wouldn't give you a credit. And most people wouldn't even think to ask in that type of situation. So what is it about internet service that makes it any different?
