I realized that in the two work weeks that contain Christmas and New Year's
Day, when I scheduled my vacation, it left me working on Monday 12/22 and
Friday 1/2 - I thought that was silly, so I updated my vacation request to
include the entire two weeks - it was approved!!! My last day at work
before Christmas is December 19th, and my first day back is January 5th.
16 glorious days in a row with no work!!! And I get vacation preparation
and recovery time as well - we're leaving for NY the 23rd and coming back
the 30th. So I'll have 4 days to prepare before we leave, and once we get
back, I'll have 5 days before I have to go back to work!
Where's Mel's "hyper" icon when I need it???
